Making Reservations 

Reservation of the Vehicle is possible using R1 Auto Rent website, calling +371 26532532, or at our tire service centres. To confirm the reservation the deposit of EUR 200, or EUR 90 must be paid. Any cancellation received within 48 hours before the beginning of the rental period will incure the deposit paid.

Rent

A price for rental duration is calculated on the basis of indivisible periods of 24 hours, starting from the time the Vehicle is made available. However, a 30 minute grace period is applied at the end of the rental before the start of a new 24-hour period.

When the rental starts, the Vehicle is roadworthy and fit for normal use. Third party insurance, and insurance with liability are included. Cost of fuel, and cleaning of the Vehicle is not included in the price.

Deposit payment / Liability

1. Deposit amount of EUR 200, and liability amount in the case of damages for the Vehicle of EUR 750

2. Reduced - deposit amount of EUR 90, and liability amount in the case of damages for the Vehicle of EUR 90. The price for rent will increase of EUR 6 for every 24 hours.

Deposit amount is refundable to the specified Customers account during 14 working days once the rental period ends.

The Vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was provided at the start of the rental.

Mileage limits

Baltics (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) - daily limit up to 250 km

Europe - daily limit up to 500 km

An example: Rental period of 7 days to Europe, total mileage limit - 3500 km (500 km times 7 days)

If total mileage exceeds the limit for more than 100 km, Customer will pay EUR 0.06 for every km exceeded.

Requirements for a driver

Driver must be aged 21 or over to rent the Vehicle and held a driving licence for at least two years. To obtain the Vehicle a driving licence and passport, or ID card must be presented.

Payments

Deposit payment must be fully covered before obtaining Vehicle either through bank transfer, or by Customers credit/debit card. Deposit payment is not accepted by cash. 

Should the Vehicle be returned before agreed term, the lender has no obligation to return the rent for unused days.

Other

Exceeding milage limit by more than 100 km, Customer must pay EUR 0.06 for every km exceeded.
